fine-art exhibits
We curate and host regularly scheduled fine art exhibits seeking to represent the diversity of the people who live, work and shop in our urban neighborhood. We have great and flexible exhibit spaces, including a beautiful store front with large, modern windows. We feature our own resident artists as well as outside guest artists. We do solo and group shows. We are the home of the annual SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY, a community-centered fine art exhibition and cultural celebration.

artwork sales
We help our tenants and exhibiting artists sell their work, through retail during exhibitions, and e-commerce via our website. Our commission rate is a very attractive 30%.

art classes + workshops
We encourage our resident artists to offer art classes for beginners and more advanced. We also invite outside artists, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits to rent our open, shared spaces for classes and workshops. We are a welcoming place for our entire community to be inspired, learn and exchange ideas.

'a lullaby of hidden light'• Yulia Sholomova
December 12, 2025 - March 31, 2026
A solo exhibition of paintings, textiles, objects, and special installations by Yulia Sholomova, whose work draws on themes of mysticism, mythology, wonders found in everyday life, the forest, the inner child, memory, belonging, and women’s emotional worlds. The mystery and storytelling behind each of Julia’s pieces immediately transport the viewers into a different world; invites them to explore their own emotional spaces and spiritual secrets; and experience an elevated state of tranquility and self-awareness.
Yulia Sholomova is a Russian-born multidisciplinary artist now living in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Yulia maintains a working studio at ArT @ 967 Payne. Her practice spans layered acrylic painting, textile art, fine art objects, and assemblages. Working in surreal symbolism, she crafts visual metaphors that weave memory, migration, belonging, identity, and the "inner child" with folklore, nature, and found objects. Sholomova graduated with honors from Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design in 2005. Her creative approach—an "archaeology of the everyday"—transforms vintage fabrics, toys, and porcelain into tactile, poetic worlds reflecting vulnerability and resilience. Influenced by childhood memories, northern forests, and a pursuit of tenderness in daily life, her artwork has been exhibited across the U.S. and Russia, including Hallberg Center for the Arts (MN), Union Street Gallery (IL), Solidarity Street Gallery (MN), Center for the Visual Arts (WI), The Art Garage (WI), White Bear Center for the Arts (MN), and ARTMUZA Museum of Contemporary Art (St. Petersburg).
